TOP 5 DRUGSTORE FOUNDATIONS.

Hello there!

Today I have my top 5 drugstore foundations to talk about, I have started using foundations a lot about a couple months ago and these are the ones that work for me best, well different ones are for different times, moods and weather conditions. Also, I have oily to combination skin which breaks out easily and these foundations did not break me out. So let's get started.

LOREAL INFALLIBLE 24HR FOUNDATION (140 GOLDEN BEIGE)

This one has to be hands down the best drugstore foundation I have ever used. It says it is a 24-hour foundation but I haven't worn a foundation for 24 hours obviously although it does stays on throughout the day and does not budge at all, the coverage is medium but buildable, it does oxidizes after a while I guess half an hour so you might want to buy a shade lighter. The texture of the foundation is pretty good and it doesn't feel too heavy on the skin, It gives a really natural finish. The packaging is really sleek and handy and it comes with a pump!

MAYBELLINE FIT ME MATTE+PORELESS FOUNDATION (310 SUN BEIGE)

This one is a shade darker for my skin tone as I bought is when I had a little tan on but I can still work with it, the texture is light and very comfortable on the skin, It stays on for 2-3 hours without setting powder and around 5-6 hours with setting powder. The coverage is light to medium and buildable and It gives a natural airbrushed effect which I prefer a lot. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a pump but you can always buy a pump separately and use it, I just use it as it came.

MAYBELLINE DREAM SATIN-SKIN AIR-WHIPPED FOUNDATION (B5 NUDE)

I use this foundation mostly for colder months as I feel It gives that creamy finish which looks better during winters, it is extremely soft and gives a really nice glow to the skin the texture is slightly creamy as mentioned but does not feel too heavy although if it's too hot outside you might don't wanna go for this, The coverage is light to medium and not very buildable because it does starts to look cakey if layered much, also it gives a whitish cast when applied but that settles down in a while, the finish it gives is as the name suggests air-whipped and beautiful and that is the reason it's on my top five list. It also has an SPF of 24  PA++.

RIMMEL LONDON STAY MATTE FOUNDATION (400 BRONZE)

I use to use this foundation about more than a year ago and completely forgot about it till I saw it lying on the back of my foundation drawer. Again the shade is very dark for me as I bought it when I had a lot of spots on my face and I wanted to cover them and didn't mind looking darker, well it turned out that dark that now I use it to cream contour sometimes. Anywho the texture of the foundation is liquidy and very light, I love the texture and I might just buy my shade soon for that only, it is matte to the core and I love matte foundations, it has chamomile and cucumber in it which is very cooling for problematic skin. It comes in a compact tube and is very travel-friendly, the coverage is sheer to medium and can be layered up to an extent, the staying power is not too good but for the price you pay for it this foundation is a real steal.
MRP: 390/- for 30ml
NOTE: I tried to find the foundation online but at Amazon it retails for 5100/- and I bought mine from a Rimmel counter, although Rimmel has another foundation which in my knowledge is exactly similar to this and the link for both are left below.

LAKME 9 TO 5 FLAWLESS FOUNDATION (MARBLE)

To be very honest the first time I used this foundation I did not like it at all, it has little solid bits in it that were damn annoying and it did not even blend well, I thought it's a regret purchase but later I tried it with a damp beauty blender and it worked. The foundation is extremely matte, so if you have super oily skin this one is for you, I use this foundation in extream summer conditions and I feel that is what it is made for. The shade range impressed me a lot, most of the shades are yellow based and perfect for Indian skin tones, the texture might feel gross at first but if you blend it well it looks very good. well, I don't know how many people care about it but the cap is rose gold in colour and it was one of the reasons that I bought it. Also. it comes with a pump. the coverage is light to medium but not buildable, it gives a glow that I like and stays on for 5-6 hours. If you have normal to slightly oily skin you might not need to powder it at all. I would suggest people with dry skin to avoid this one as it is not meant for them I believe.
